My favorite trip was by train to Guilin in 2025. Guilin has beautiful mountains and rivers. People say "Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven". Local Yao and Zhuang people have interesting traditions. Lijiang's old town is nice, with Naxi culture and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain nearby. Huangshan has strange pines and clouds, and old villages around it. They all mix great nature with rich culture.

Adapted sample:Talking About Nanchang Tourism
Anna: I’ve heard China has amazing natural scenery. Have you been to any places that took your breath away(amazing)
Li Daiyu: Absolutely! Last year we went to Lushan Mountain, which is just a short drive from Nanchang. The moment we saw the cascading waterfalls and swirling clouds around the green peaks, words failed me(surprised). It’s even more beautiful than pictures—you can really feel the charm of "clouds and mists wrapping the mountains" there!
Liu Qian: And Nanchang itself is a hidden gem(not famous treasure) too! The Ganjiang River flowing through the city is a total must-see. The river winds past Tengwang Pavilion, one of China’s famous ancient pavilions, and the whole view looks like a traditional Chinese painting. You name it(all kinds of things)—taking a night cruise on the Ganjiang, climbing Tengwang Pavilion to enjoy the river scenery, or wandering around the historic Shengjin Tower area—there’s so much to do that you’ll never get bored!
Anna: Wow, that sounds fantastic! What’s the climate like in Nanchang
Li Daiyu: Summers here can be as hot as an oven(very hot)—it’s known as one of China’s "four furnaces" for a reason! But autumn is perfect: cool, sunny, and with clear skies. We spent a week in Nanchang last autumn, just killing time(spend time) by the Ganjiang River, sipping local tea, and chatting with the locals about the city’s history.
Anna: I’d love to visit someday. Oh, look—we’re approaching Honggutan New Area! It’s almost the core urban area of Nanchang, with those modern skyscrapers standing beside the old river.
Liu Qian: Really That’s interesting—mixing the old and new must make Nanchang even more special. Well, it was great talking to you!
Anna: Same here. Enjoy the rest of your journey exploring Nanchang!
