When Neumann from America and his family arrived in Shanghai on March 22, they were welcomed not as strangers but as friends. This is thanks to RedNote, a Chinese social app.
The story began on January 14 when Neumann shared a photo with his 14-month-old daughter on RedNote. He wrote, “Hello, everyone! This is me and my daughter. We look forward to making friends across the sea!”
Earlier this year, the number of foreign users of RedNote was increasing. They shared almost everything about their lives. Rongrong, a Chinese mother of a 17-month-old girl, replied to Neumann with her family photo. Then they talked about parenting tips(育儿建议), cultural differences, and daily routines(日常生活). Their communication became popular online. One user commented(评论), “Isn't this how the world should be ”
In March, the Neumanns visited China. After a 15-hour flight, Rongrong's family warmly welcomed them. Over the following days, the two families visited Shanghai's famous places together and their children shared many special snacks. Neumann was amazed by China's great changes such as the use of robots in daily life. He told Shanghai News, “Seeing them in person is 100% better than watching short videos!”

In the digital age, “cloud travel” has become more and more popular among young people. With a click or a swipe, you can “visit” many places at home without going out. Some people say cloud travel will take the place of on-site travel, but I believe the two can never replace each other.
Cloud travel has many advantages. First, it is convenient and low-cost. You don't need to spend money on flights, hotels or tickets. You can visit any place at any time. Secondly, it can give a more detailed introduction to the places. Many programs have professional guides to explain the history and culture. What's more, it is environmentally friendly. It produces no carbon emissions and won't damage the environment or relics.
However, on-site travel has its special charm. The most important thing is the immersive (沉浸式) experience. You can feel the wind, smell the flowers, hear the waves and talk with local people. These sensory (感官的) experiences can never be replaced by a screen. As the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” Only when you stand in front of the Nanjing City Wall can you truly feel its greatness; only when you walk along the Qinhuai River can you truly understand its beauty.
On-site travel also brings unexpected surprises and sweet memories. These wonderful moments can't be experienced through cloud travel.
In my opinion, cloud travel and on-site travel are not opposites. Cloud travel is good for people without time or money. On-site travel gives you real experiences. We can use cloud travel to broaden our horizons, and use on-site travel to feel the real world.
( )53. What is the main advantage of cloud travel mentioned in Paragraph 2
A. It can provide immersive sensory experiences.
B. It is convenient, low-cost and environmentally friendly.

C. To compare the differences between Nanjing's attractions and other places.
D. To show that on-site travel can bring a real immersive experience.
( )55. What can we infer from the last paragraph
A. Cloud travel will replace on-site travel in the near future.
B. On-site travel is better than cloud travel in every way.
C. Cloud travel and real travel can go well together.
D. People should choose on-site travel instead of cloud travel.
( )56. What is the writer's attitude towards cloud travel
A. Critical (批判). B. Neutral (中立). C. Negative (消极). D. Doubtful.

"Your Uncle Silas will take you, Tom." she said.
"It's OK, Aunt Sally, I can drive the wagon(马车) plied."
I was halfway to town when I saw another wagon coming towards me. Tom Sawyer was in it. When he saw me, he looked terrified. "Huck! Why have you come back to scare me I never hurt you." he said.

"Aren't you a ghost Aren't you dead "
"No. It was a e and feel me if you don't believe me."
He did, and then he was sure that I wasn't a ghost. He was glad to see me and wanted to hear about my adventures.
"I'll tell you later." I said. "I have another problem now." And I told him about Jim.
"I am going to rescue him." I said.
"I'll help you." Tom replied excitedly. He loved an adventure more than anything else in the world.
"But what are you going to tell Aunt Sally She thinks that I am Tom Sawyer."
He thought for a moment then he said, "Listen! I have an idea."

七、阅读下面短文,用英语回答短文后的问题。(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
In the early days of history, being a good neighbor was very important. Neighbors helped one another build houses, and clear fields. Families depended on one another for friendship and entertainment.
But today in our cities and suburbs, friendly relationship between neighbors is not common. A family may not even know the other families that live next door to them. We live in an age of machines, and each family may have its own car, TV set, and washing machine. People no longer depend on neighbors as much as they once did. Machines keep people apart in other ways. In our grandparents' time, women met while they hung out the washing, and men stopped and talked while they mowed the lawns. Today, they cannot hear anything above the noise of their power lawn mowers. And women stay inside with their electrical dryers, which help dry their clothes. Children are inside watching their favorite TV shows. Is the idea of being a good neighbor old-fashioned
In 1965, a power cut hit New York City, and many thousands of people were left helpless. Suddenly, everyone shared the same problem, and the largest city became a group of eight million neighbors. People with cars offered rides to those walking. Other people helped direct traffic. In elevators, people played word games and helped cheer each other up.
In times of trouble, people still depend on one another. As time goes on, people may once again feel that being a good neighbor is important.
