Last Friday, I had a really bad day. While I was having breakfast with my younger sister, the sky was growing darker and darker. I heard thunder and saw lightning. When I left the house, it was raining heavily and almost too dark to see! I couldn't use my umbrella because the wind was so strong. It was a dangerous thunderstorm.
Even though I had my raincoat on, I still got very wet! I got to the school bus stop, but the bus had broken down! So I had to walk to school. By the time I got there, I was wet all over and very late. My teacher smiled and said, "Don't worry, we will learn swimming in PE class today anyway!"
