No matter how you do it, booking holidays can be a headache. It used to require a visit to a travel agen(t 代理
人). Later, online travel agents appeared, allowing people to plan trips from the comfort of their. own homes.
With the help of AI, now they can easily deal with the brain work, too.For example, Trip; ecom, has brought out
TripGenie.
Many people& expect AI to free them from boring work. This may explain why AI trip planners are drawing
attention. They' re perfect for those who go mad when booking holidays.
But are these AI booking agents reliable(可靠的) Some have tried them out. When a couple asked
TripGemiecto find a romantic hotel in Paris, its top suggestion was by the airport. "Well, perhaps the AI agent is
still in its early days," they concluded.
Tools like TripGenie are facing competition from AI companies, too. Open AI, for example, is
testing its Operator. The AI bot is supposed to"mimic(模仿)a human's use of the Web". When asked about that
Paris trip, it suggests places with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Some researchers think Open AI might soon disrupt
the online travel agents'market.
One problem with AI booking agents is that they make mistakes. Air Canada got in trouble after its chat bot
wrongly promised a user a discount(折扣). Could AI agents be fooled into booking a more expensive flight
Would anyone feel safe giving his or her credit card information to an AI agent then
AI agents may also have difficulty understanding the variety of people's tastes. Someone may think it's not
romantic to choose a metal tower at all. One couple—the groom Icelandic and the bride French—recently got
married on a flight between their countries. For them, a hotel room by Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport might have
suited them better.

Jim Hawkins hid behind a big barrel. His heart was beating fast when listening to the dangerous pirates(海盗)
talking.
"Listen, my friends," Long John Silver said quietly"Tomorrow morning, when we reach the island, we will
take the treasure and kill anyone who tries to stop us."
"But what about the boy and the other gentlemen on this ship " asked one of the pirates nervously.
"Ha!"Silver said angrily."They don't know our real plans. Once we find where the treasure is,they will be
useless to us."
Jim felt very scared because he knew how dangerous they were. These men, in fact, were bad sailors and
were planning to kill them.
"What if they find out our plan too early "another pirate asked worriedly.
"Then we will have to act quickly,"Silver answered coldly."I have killed many people. A young boy and a
few gentlemen are no real danger to skilled pirates like us."
"Yes, Captain Silver,"the men said together excitedly.
Jim knew he must tell his friends about it right away. Quietly, he began to move away from his hiding place,
but suddenly his foot hit a wooden board and made a loud noise.
"What was that "Silver asked sharply, looking around the dark places.
"Maybe just the ship moving,"one pirate said.
"Maybe,"Silver said,"but be careful. We cannot have any problems at this important time."
