meaning (n. 意义) → meaningful (adj. 有意义的,后缀 -ful)
danger (n. 危险) → dangerous (adj. 危险的,后缀 -ous)
expense (n. 开销) → expensive (adj. 昂贵的,后缀 -ive)

注意:并非所有的形容词后缀都直接添加在词根或基础词后面。
有的需要双写,如 fun→funny、red→reddish;
有的需要去y改i再加后缀,如mystery→mysterious、beauty→beautiful
有的需要去掉不发音的e,如bone→bony、fame→famous。
遇到不确定的情况,可查阅词典确认。

比赛流程:小组讨论后,把本组的答案填写在答题卡上,派一名代表上台参与游戏。所有代表站成一排,并伸出五根手指。每组代表轮流说出自己的答题卡上有的单词,其余代表的答题卡上如果没有这个单词,就弯一根手指;如果有同样的单词则不需要弯手指。五根手指全部弯折的队伍即遭淘汰,最后剩余手指最多的队伍获得胜利。

-y: wealthy, chilly, windy, angry
-ive: creative, active, productive, imaginative
