教材分析 This lesson belongs to the reading class, which belongs to the theme context of "People and Society", the theme group is "Social Service and Interpersonal Communication", and belongs to the sub-theme "Good Interpersonal Relations and Social Communication". This article is made up of three different humorous stories. Story 1 tells the story of an art collector who tries to get his hands on an antique plate and fails to succeed; Story 2 tells the story of Sherlock Holmes and his friend Watson having their tent stolen while camping; Story 3 tells the story of Grock, a clown actor, who sees a doctor. By reading three humorous stories, students can master the basic elements of short stories (time, place, main characters, event conflicts, etc.), let students understand the characteristics of humorous stories and humorous expressions, and at the same time cultivate students' sense of humor and positive attitude towards life. The humorous storyline in this lesson is simple, the language is concise, the meaning is rich, and a lot of direct quotation is used. The three stories are similar in structure and all consist of three parts. The first part is a flat and direct narrative that describes the scene where the story takes place; The second part guides the reader to infer plot development along a certain mode of thinking; The unexpected outcome of the third part clashes with the reader's expectations, producing a humorous effect.
学情分析 This course is designed for sophomores. After one year of high school study, sophomore students have a certain amount of vocabulary accumulation and reading experience, and have learned some basic reading skills, but they lack understanding of the writing methods of humorous stories and other articles with a certain writing style, especially humorous expressions. At the same time, they have a strong interest in learning humorous stories, and teachers can stimulate and guide students to further understand the writing skills of humorous stories.
