I was surprised to see so many great changes.When I left, there were only a few small shops in the town, and most people went to the city to buy things. Now, a big new supermarket stands in the south of the town. There used to be a noisy old factory there. It was closed, because it caused serious pollution, and the government built a beautiful park there instead.The town center has changed the most. Cars are not allowed there now. People can only walk or ride bikes. It's much quieter and cleaner than before. Near my home, two new shops have opened, including a big bookstore and a modern gym.Life here is much more convenient than before. And I really enjoy these changes. But I feel a little sad. Because most of my old friends have left the town to work or study in big cities.
