High up on the Qinghai—Xizang Plateau, there is a wild and remote place called Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve. Something amazing is happening there. A new kind of “animal” is now walking with the Tibetan antelopes (藏羚羊). The real antelopes don’t even look twice at their new “friend”.
But this four-legged “friend” is different. It doesn’t need to eat grass or have babies. Its only job is to watch and record, and sometimes its battery needs to be changed. This is China’s first robot antelope.
The robot looks very real because it has a wonderful exoskeleton. This means it can get very close to the antelopes without scaring them. For scientists, it is very difficult to study the animals up close in this cold, high place. Now, thanks to the robot, they can watch the antelopes easily from far away.
Every year, between May and August, thousands of antelopes travel a long way to Hoh Xil. They go there to have their babies, so people call Hoh Xil the “delivery room (产房)” for the species.
The robot was built by a company in Hangzhou. To make the robot look real, designers used the photos of real antelope fur. In a test video, the robot walked two kilometers over mountain roads to reach the herd. The antelopes were curious but not scared. They let the robot join them, so it could record videos, sounds and other data.
In the 1990s, there were fewer than 70,000 Tibetan antelopes because people hunted them. Now, , there are over 300,000! The robot is a new, high-tech way to help protect these lovely animals and make sure they are safe in the future.

My dog is in the garden, wagging (摇) its tail. Its mouth is open and it is looking at me. What is it trying to tell me
People are always interested in animal communication and scientists are doing a lot of research on this subject.
66 Dogs are famous for this. When a dog walks outside, it learns about other dogs by smelling things. 67 They can find missing people by using their fantastic senses of smell. Mice have excellent senses of smell too. And scientists train them to find landmines (地雷). Scientists discover that even ants use smell. They use smell to tell other ants where the food is.
68 Research shows that many other animals use sounds to communicate. Frogs and insects communicate through sounds. Usually the “gentlemen” make sounds to invite the “ladies”. Whales and elephants also use sounds to communicate. These sounds can travel very far through water or the air. However, it is not possible for humans to hear some of the sounds. They are either too low or too high for us.
69 When a cat puts its ears back, it is a bit mad. When it sits with its tail around itself, it is happy. 70 When it wags its tail and opens its mouth, it is happy. So I think my dog is happy right now.

B.Everyone hears birds singing.
C.Most animals communicate by smell.
D.Dogs also keep helping the police for along time.
E.When a dog puts its tail under its body, it is scared.

There is no way that you don’t have any embarrassing moments. You can’t control everything that happens, so you’re going to be in an embarrassing situation one day. 71 The answer is to control your actions and try not to get upset.
◆Remember that you’ll probably laugh about it in a few days. 72
◆If it is something so embarrassing that you feel you will never laugh about it, please remember that the trouble will be over after some time.
◆ 73 If you’ve done the same for them, they’re more likely to agree to give you a break.
Always remember that you are not alone. 74 While you are sure that everyone is going to remember this moment forever, the fact is that they’ll probably forget it very soon. Most of us remember the moments in which we feel embarrassed, but very few of us remember other people’s embarrassing moments. 75 So while you may never forget the moment when your skirt was torn (撕裂) in gym class, most of the other people probably forget it at once. Although a short memory may not be a helpful thing when you are trying to remember facts in a history test, it is useful when you are trying to forget life’s most embarrassing moments.
A.So try to see the funny side of it.
B.Most people have short memories.
C.So how can you solve this problem
D.Do you want to play jokes on others
E.Everyone has embarrassing moments.
F.Ask your friends to give you a break and not to make fun of you.
G.Sometimes we have to face embarrassing moments when we can only keep silent.
