Students at Rifle Middle School in Colorado, US, went out of their school last Thursday afternoon like working ants. Each of them carried a heavy box of hope for their community. They collected over 35 boxes of food to help people in their community as part of their Providing Assistance, Leadership, and Service (PALS) programme.
In the PALS programme, students can take part in various activities like raising money by helping new students and helping with school culture. The Food Drive also is an important part of the programme. Students organize it by collecting food like ramen (拉面), canned beans and green vegetables from each classroom and then donating them to local communities or food banks.

China has started testing a pet-friendly service on some high-speed trains between Beijing and Shanghai since April 9, 2025.
