Learning Objectives
To master the usage of adverbial clauses introduced by unless, so...that and as soon as in specific contexts; distinguish between -ing and -ed adjectives and apply them correctly.

unless
unless：“除非；如果不”。
引导条件状语从句，相当于if...not, 时态遵循“主将从现”原则。
I won't go to the movies unless you go with me.
= I won't go to the movies if you don't go with me.
She won't go outside unless she finishes her homework.
= She won't go outside if she doesn't finish her homework.
注：虚拟条件句中不能用unless。
