Tao Yong is an excellent eye doctor at a hospital in Beijing. His journey from getting hurt to helping others again has touched many people.
In 2020, something bad happened to Tao when he worked. His head, neck and hands were hurt badly, and he couldn’t use his left hand as well as before. It made him experience the darkest time of his life.
Lots of people thought he might not be able to go back to work. However, he loved being a doctor and wanted to help those in need. So about three months later, he went back to work. Luckily, after almost a year’s training, Tao picked up the scalpel (手术刀) again. He believes it is a new beginning for him. He also starts something new.
