四、语法
1. 一般过去时
· 用于叙述过去发生的事件或状态。
· 动词用过去式(规则变化加 -ed,不规则变化需记忆)。
2. 过去进行时
· 表示过去某个时刻或某段时间正在进行的动作。
· 结构:was/were + 现在分词
· 常与一般过去时搭配,构成“过去进行时 + when + 一般过去时”句型,表示一个动作正在进行时另一个动作突然发生。
3. 时间状语从句
· 常用连词:when(当……时),as(当……时),while(在……期间)
4. 感叹句结构
· How + 形容词 + 主语 + 谓语!

A Lucky Accident
It was a cold winter morning. I was walking to school with my friend Tom. We were talking and laughing about the weekend. Suddenly, Tom slipped on some ice and fell down. He couldn’t get up. His leg was hurting badly.
While I was trying to help him, a woman ran out of a nearby house. She was a nurse. She looked at Tom's leg and said, "Don't move him. I'll call an ambulance." Soon, the ambulance arrived and took Tom to the hospital.
Later, we found out that Tom’s leg was broken, but he was lucky. If the nurse hadn’t helped so quickly, it could have been worse. From this experience, I learned that we should always be careful when walking on icy roads. I also learned that helping others is very important.
