二、核心句型
1. 比较级用法
比较级用于比较两个人或事物的差异:
· Lisa jumped very far, but Kim jumped farther. 丽莎跳得很远,但金跳得更远。
· David was only two seconds slower than me. 大卫只比我慢两秒。
· Tom did his best, but his ping-pong ball kept falling off.
汤姆尽力了,但他的乒乓球老是掉下来。
比较级变化规则:
· 单音节词:fast → faster, slow → slower, far → farther
· 多音节词:quickly → more quickly
2. without doing 结构
without 是介词,后面接名词或动名词,表示“没有做某事的情况下做另一件事”:
· She jumped 178 times in one minute without stopping.
她一分钟内跳了178次,没有停顿。
· Each student had to move it from one basket to another without dropping it.
每个学生必须把它从一个篮子移到另一个篮子,不能掉下来。
3. 询问和描述比赛结果
询问结果:
· What were the results (结果怎么样?)
描述名次:
· Kim won first place in the jump rope event. 金在跳绳项目中获得第一名。
· Lisa won second place in the long jump. 丽莎在跳远中获得第二名。
描述表现:
· Tom did his best, but his ping-pong ball kept falling off.

4. 一般过去时叙述已发生事件
描述已经发生的活动时,使用一般过去时:
