因气候湿热，四川人喜以食辣除湿，所以作为川菜的代表之一，四川火锅以麻辣重油著称。与北方火锅食用时配麻酱碟不同的是，四川火锅在食用配以油碟，以平衡锅底的辣味。
Because of the hot and humid climate, Sichuan people like to eat spicy food to make them sweat, so as one of the important dishes, Sichuan hot pot is famous for spicy flavor and heavy oil. Different from northern hot pot, Sichuan people usually eaten Sichuan hot pot with an oil dish to balance the spiciness.
