Last year, I had an unforgettable experience during the summer vacation. My parents took me to Zhangjiajie. It's a famous natural wonder in Hunan Province.
When we arrived at the scenic area, I was shocked right away. The mountains there were not like usual ones. They stood straight like giant stone pillars (柱), reaching high into the sky. Daniel was an 18-year-old man with a big dream. His dream was to study coral reefs and protect ocean life. To become a good ocean explorer, he had practiced a lot. And finally, he got his chance to explore the Red Sea Coral Reef. It's a place he had only read about in textbooks.

Death Valley is located in California. It is one of the natural wonders. Rocks here can move by themselves across the flat desert surface. This unusual phenomenon (现象) attracts scientists and visitors to come.
How does that happen It's said that after a rain, water covers the surface of Racetrack Playa (a flat dry lake bed in the valley). When night comes and temperatures drop, the water freezes into thin ice. During the day, the ice breaks because it melts (融化) in the sun. I recently visited Mount Sanqing, a natural scenic spot in Jiangxi Province.
