History

Faysal Ahmad is a Bangladeshi PhD student at Beijing Forestry University. Driven by his deep love for nature, he came to China to study wetland protection research.
As a child, Ahmad often watched migratory(迁徙) birds by the water and wondered where they flew. He came to realize that wetlands are closely influenced by human activities. Through years of work with different groups, he understood that nature protection is a shared human responsibility. “I realized protection is not complete unless it includes people,” he said. “Science must serve those who live closest to change.”
