To enrich the campus life,our School Basketball Tournament officially kicked off on April 8th on the
school basketball court.

Securing a rope around her,Jerry commanded the lead dog to go.With Maya leading the way,Jerry
quickly tied the other end of the rope around his waist and began lowering himself into the gap where
McClaren had fallen.The dogs barked nervously,sensing the urgency of the situation.Jerry's hands were
numb with cold,but he griped the rope tightly.As he reached the bottom,he found McClaren clinging to a
piece of ice,his face pale and eyes wide with fear.Jerry quickly wrapped the rope around McClaren and
signaled the dogs to pull them up.
Finally,Dr.McClaren was free,but the raging snowstorm made the journey back to the base even more
dangerous.Jerry helped McClaren to his feet,supporting him as they stumbled through the blinding snow.
Maya and the rest of the sled dogs struggled to march forward,their breaths visible in the freezing air.Every
step was a test of their endurance and resolve.With Maya leading the way and Jerry's determined spirit
guiding them,they pushed forward.Finally,they reached the safety of their base before the storm claimed
them all.
