(1)确认他人是否正在做某事
① 单人
问:Is+主语(第三人称单数)+动词-ing形式(+其他)
答:Yes,主语+be动词./No,主语+be动词+not.
e.g: Is he reading a book

② 多人
问:Are+主语(复数)+动词-ing形式(+其他)
答:Yes,we/they are.或No,we/they aren't.
e.g: -Are they practising English
-Yes,they are.
询问某人感觉怎么样
问:How do/does+主语+feel
答:主语+feel/feels+表示情绪或感受的形容词.
当主语是第三人称单数时,问句中用does,答语中用feels
e.g. - How do you feel
- I feel excited.
- How does Amy feel
- She feels sad.
(3)描述某人现在的情绪或感受
主语+be动词+feeling+表示情绪或感受的形容词.
e.g. He is feeling sad.
I am feeling better now.
(4)描述某人正在做某事
主语+be动词+动词-ing形式(+其他).
这是现在进行时的陈述句,常用于描述某人现在或现阶段正在做某事
e.g. He is crying.
They are playing basketball.
(5)表达某人应该/不应该做某事
主语+should/ shouldn't+动词原形(+其他)。
shouldn't是 should not 的缩写形式
e.g. We shouldn’t eat breakfast in the classroom.
-ing类形容词和-ed类形容词的区别
-ed类形容词表示“人感到......样”,如interested, 意为感到有兴趣的
I am interested in this book.
(2)-ing类形容词表示“令人感到.......样”,如interesting, 令人感兴趣的。
This is an interesting book
常用的这两类词如下表
-ed类 -ing类
interested 感到有趣的 interesting 令人感兴趣的
excited 感到兴奋的 exciting令人感到兴奋的
surprised 感到惊讶的 surprising 令人感到惊讶的
bored 感到无聊的 boring令人感到无聊的
现在进行时(情绪相关动作)
用于描述正在发生的情绪相关动作(笑、哭等),核心结构:
陈述句:主语 + be动词 + 动词-ing形式 (+ 其他);
一般疑问句:Be动词 + 主语 + 动词-ing形式 (+ 其他) ;
e.g. He is laughing.

情态动词should的用法
用于给出建议,表达“应该/不应该做某事”
主语+should/ shouldn't+动词原形(+其他)。
shouldn't是 should not 的缩写形式
should是情态动词,无论主语是什么,都不变形,且后面只能接动词原形
e.g. You should go to bed now.
She shouldn't jump on the bed.
