One day,Tom's class held a meeting to talk about how to help homeless children.After a
discussion,they made a decision to sell postcards to raise money for them.Tom wanted to play a
role in this activity,but he was too shy to talk to strangers,so he kept quiet in his seat.The teacher

Tom said yes in a low voice with a red face.Then the lady put some coins into Tom's collection bag
and took away a postcard."You made it,Tom!"laughed Angela.
In the next three hours,Angela and Tom sold out all the postcards they had.At last,their
collection bags were so heavy that they had to hold them with both arms.They felt very proud.
