1. 过去进行时基本句型
（1）肯定句：主语 + was/were + doing sth. + 时间状语
例：My family were having dinner when she called.
（2）否定句：主语 + was/were + not + doing sth. + 时间状语
例：I wasn’t doing my homework when the earthquake started.
（3）一般疑问句：Was/Were + 主语 + doing sth. + 时间状语？
例：Were you travelling on the train while it was snowing
2. when与while引导的时间状语从句
（1）when：接非延续性动词，主句用过去进行时，从句用一般过去时
例：I was doing my homework when the building shook all of a sudden.
（2）while：接延续性动词，主句和从句均用过去进行时，表两个动作同时进行
例：I was doing some chores while my mother was preparing lunch.
3. 一般过去时一般疑问句
结构：Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他？
例：Did you have any trouble during the typhoon
4. 固定句型：It was + 形容词 + to do sth. 做某事是……的
例：It was dangerous to go out during the typhoon.
