Many people worry too much about the future. Or they keep thinking about their past mistakes.
We call this “overthinking”. The more you think about these things, the more tired and stressed you
will feel. But can we stop overthinking
Ethan is a 35-year-old salesman. He often could not sleep at night. He would keep replaying
his talk with his boss in his head. “Did I do the right thing Was there anything wrong with what I
said ” The more he thought, the worse he felt. One night, he felt very stressed and even found it
hard to breathe. So he got out of bed and did some simple exercise. After a few minutes, he felt less
nervous. He then focused on his body and stopped worrying about his mistakes. As he exercised
more, he became relaxed.
When you start worrying too much or feel nervous, you can try to focus on your body instead.
You can go for a walk or do push-ups until you sweat. Holding something cold or warm can also
help you feel better quickly. The “4-7-8 breathing” is another good way. Breathe in slowly for 4
seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and then breathe out slowly for 8 seconds. Soon, your
mind will be peaceful again.

In science museums, you usually see animal specimens (标本) lying silently. Now they are not
quiet anymore. Thanks to AI, visitors to a museum in England can talk to them now.
The museum works with an AI company so that it is possible for people and the natural world
to communicate with each other. It brings 13 of its specimens back to life.
Visitors only need to use their smartphones to scan the QR codes (二维码 ) next to the
specimens to begin talking with them — either by text or voice. The animals will reply as if they’
re still alive.
This is a new way for people to learn about animals. The museum wants to see how this can
help people connect with nature better.
“This is just a try using AI technology in nature science. Will it help people know more about
the specimen animals Will it influence people’s opinions about them For example, will people

The Sunday Mail magazine interviewed some parents about whether children should do chores
at home. Different people have different opinions.
Ms. Miller thinks that kids these days already have enough stress from school. They do not
have much time to do housework. Housework is a waste of their time. They should spend their time
on schoolwork in order to get good grades and get into a good university. When kids get older, they

will have to do housework. So there is no need for them to do it now. She thinks that doing chores is
not so difficult.
However, Mr. Smith disagrees with her. He thinks it is important for children to learn how to
do chores and help their parents with housework. It's not enough to just get good grades at school.
Children these days depend on their parents too much. Doing chores helps children to be
independent and teaches them how to look after themselves. It also helps them to understand the
idea of fairness. Everyone should do their part in keeping the house clean and tidy. The earlier kids
learn to be independent, the better it is for their future.
