Mr Wu is talking about the school Environment Week. Read what he says below and pay attention to the use of the passive voice.
Last year, many trees were planted at the school during the Environment Week.
This year, other eco-friendly activities will be organized. A recycling event is going to be held at our school. You can donate old clothes and shoes. They’ll be sent to poor areas. I hope everyone will take an active part in at least one activity and also vote for the activity you want to see in the future.
We use the passive voice in the simple future tense when the action has not taken place yet.
We use “will be/_____________ + past participle” to form the passive voice in the simple future tense.

We form the passive voice in the simple future tense like this.
subject will (not) be/be (not)going to be past particle
I will (not) be/am (not) going to be supported.

Explanation
一般将来时的被动语态
e.g. He will be/is going to be taken to hospital in a few minutes.
他几分钟之内就会被送至医院。
In China, more and more wetlands will be/are going to be protected.

一般将来时的被动语态结构如下：
肯定句：主语+will be+过去分词(+其他).
主语+be going to be +过去分词(+其他).
否定句：主语+will not be++过去分词(+其他).
主语+be not going to be+过去分词(+其他).
一般疑问句：Will+主语+be+过去分词(+其他)
Be + 主语 + going to be+过去分词(+其他)
特殊疑问句：疑问词+will+主语+be+过去分词(+其他)
疑问词+ be+ 主语 + going to be+过去分词(+其他)
注意：主语是第一人称时，一般将来时的被动语态也可以用“shall be + 动词的过去分词”来表达。

Pollution
Pollution is one of the biggest problems in the world today. In many places, rubbish (1) ______________ (throw) into lakes and rivers, so many of them (2) ______________ (pollute).

Write a short text about your school’s activities to protect the environment, using the passive voice in the simple present, past and future tenses.
At our school, many things are done to protect the environment. Every week, recyclable waste is collected from each classroom, and materials such as paper, plastic bottles and cans are sorted into special bins. To save electricity, lights and computers are always turned off when not in use. Additionally, students are required to use paper on both sides whenever possible.
Last year, positive changes were made. The sports field was cleared of rubbish, and trees were planted to support local wildlife.
Further steps will be taken soon. For example, old uniforms will be collected for recycling next term. Through these efforts, our school environment is gradually being improved and will be better protected for the future.
