Which type of pollution is the biggest problem in your hometown Explain.
Version 1: In my hometown, air pollution is the biggest problem. Many factories give off black smoke. Also, there are too many cars on the roads. Their exhaust makes the air dirty. On foggy days, we can’t see far and my throat feels bad.
Version 2: I think the biggest environmental problem in my hometown is soil pollution. It comes from many things, like thrown-away cigarette butts and too much chemical fertilizer on farms.
Discussion
What can we do to solve the biggest problem in our hometown to live a greener life
Let’s Fix Air Pollution in Our Hometown
First, factories should clean their smoke. They can use machines to make the black smoke clean before letting it out. If some factories keep polluting and don’t change, the government should punish them according to law or even close them down.
Second, we can ride bikes or take buses more. Students can ride bikes to school, and grown-ups can take buses to work. Fewer cars mean less exhaust. Maybe we can also drive electric cars—they don’t make exhaust at all!
Let’s plant more trees! Trees are great air cleaners. Planting them in parks and neighborhoods will help take in dirty air.
Small steps can make a big difference. Let’s work together to make the air in our hometown clean again!
