Work in groups. Plan a speech on the topic “Nature is our best teacher”. Think about what you have learnt in this unit.
演讲稿是一种常见的应用文体,是一种用来交流思想、经验,表达主张、见解的文稿,具有宣传、教育和鼓舞等作用。
演讲稿的语言要具有感染力,通常可以使用祈使句、感叹句等句式来达到这种目的。
时态应以一般现在时为主。人称宜用第一人称,这样能引起更多人的关注与共鸣。

Before you start, you need to know:
演讲最常用的称呼是Ladies and gentlemen,也可根据不同情况,选用Fellow students, Distinguished guests, Mr. Chairman, Honorable judges等。
但也常用Good morning / Good afternoon / Good evening, everyone! Hello, everyone!等句子开头。
A basic speech format is simple. It consists of three parts:
an opening or introduction
the body
an ending (or summary).
开头:好的开头能够紧紧地抓住听众的注意力,为整场演讲的成功打下基础。常用的开头有点明主题、交代背景、提出问题等。
正文:它是整篇演讲的主体,必须有重点、有层次。由于演讲材料是通过口头表达的,为了便于听众理解,各段落应上下连贯,段与段之间有适当的过渡和呼应。
结尾:它是演讲内容的收束,起着深化主题的作用。结尾的方法有归纳法、引文法、反问法等。归纳法是概括一篇演讲的中心思想,总结强调主要观点;引文法则是引用名言警句,升华主题,留下思考;反问法是以问句引发听众思考和对演讲者观点的认同。此外,演讲稿的结尾也可以用感谢、展望、鼓舞等语句作结,使演讲能自然收束,给人留下深刻印象。
