Recently, a new relaxing walking activity called ColorWalk has become popular among young people. It helps relieve (缓解) stress and manage emotions. Its rules are simple: Choose a color before you go out. Then walk through the streets. Look for things of that color and take photos. This simple act starts a relaxing and happy journey.
One reason ColorWalk benefits us is that colors affect us in different ways. Cool colors like blue and green can make our hearts beat slower and help us relax. Warm colors like red and orange can make us energetic and more awake.
Another reason is that ColorWalk gives us a small and clear goal. Wang Wenda, a mental health (心理健康) teacher, said setting small goals and taking small actions can help our brains become more active. When we finish a small task, we feel a sense of achievement. It can make us feel more confident.
Many young people have tried ColorWalk. For example, Ms Kang tried ColorWalk and chose green to deal with her anxiety (焦虑) at work. At first, her heart was still racing. Then she saw green leaves on a tree. A few steps later, she noticed green grass and a green bench (长椅). Slowly, her breathing became calmer. “Love You, Old Self”—this simple sentence has become a warm and popular saying among Chinese young people. By posting photos of a home-made meal or a morning coffee with these words, they turn small, daily acts into a shared habit of being kind to themselves. People praise it as one of the nicest trends (趋势), and it touches many people deeply.
It is more than just a sentence. It makes the idea of taking care of oneself easy to feel. It gives comfort when people are stressed, and helps them enjoy small happy moments. The key is calling oneself “Old Self”—a friendly nickname. It lets people take a step back and talk to themselves with the same kindness they usually give to a close friend.
This trend is popular for a reason. Today’s young people face great stress, such as endless exams and fierce competition for places at university and jobs. For example, a high school student in Beijing writes “Love You, Old Self” in her notebook to calm down after a difficult exam. In this situation, this gentle self-kindness has become an important way to deal with stress.
Most importantly, this habit is not an excuse to avoid challenges. Instead, it builds a strong base for people to become stronger in mind. To say “Love You, Old Self” means to admit your own efforts, to let yourself rest when you need to, and thus find a good balance in life. It is a cheap but powerful way to keep your feelings stable. It also changes where people get their strength: from others’ praise to their own confidence.
Finally, by being kind to themselves, young people build an important protection against outside stress. This gentle, steady power brings inner peace and tells a deep truth: true care for others starts with being kind to yourself.
61.What is the type of the passage
A.A story about life experiences. B.An article about life and feelings.
C.A report about school activities. D.A guide about travel places.
62.What does “Old Self” mean in the passage
A.An old person around you. B.A nickname for yourself.
C.A close and warm friend. D.A kind and polite stranger.
63.According to the passage, how does “Love You, Old Self” help young people
A.It helps them win more competitions.
B.It helps them make more friends.
C.It helps them deal with stress and find balance.
D.It helps them get into a good university easily.
64.Which of the following is NOT a reason why the trend becomes popular
A.It is a good way to avoid all challenges in life.
B.It gives young people a way to be kind to themselves.
C.Young people are facing great stress in life.
D.It helps young people get inner peace.
65.What is the main idea of the passage
A.How to take good care of yourself in daily life.
B.The importance of being kind to others.
C.The stress that Chinese young people face.
D.The power of loving yourself.

By the end of the walk, the anxiety on her face disappeared.

A.A story about life experiences. B.An article about life and feelings.

65.What is the main idea of the passage
