①In recent years, scientists have been working on a breaking technology that could change the way we think about solar (太阳能的) energy: solar paint. Unlike traditional solar panels (板), which are huge and expensive, solar paint is a lightweight material that can be painted on almost any surface. This creation could turn the whole buildings into energy providers, making green energy much more available than ever before.
②Solar paint works by using tiny particles called photovoltaic cells (光伏电池), which take in sunlight and change it into electricity. These cells are mixed into a liquid solution (溶液) that can be brushed onto walls, doors, or even windows. Once brushed, the paint begins to produce power at once.
③One of the most exciting things of solar paint is its potential (潜力) to cut carbon emissions (碳排放). Traditional energy like coal and oil is the main cause for climate change. By covering buildings with solar paint, cities could greatly cut their dependence on traditional energy and move closer to a green future.
④Researchers believe that a single coat of solar paint could produce enough energy to power a small household equipment.
⑤________. Now, solar paint is less efficient than traditional solar panels, and it is more expensive to produce. Scientists are working to improve its efficiency and lower costs, but it may take several years before solar paint becomes widely available.
⑥Although there are such challenges, the potential of solar paint is unstoppable. As technology develops, it could become a key tool in the fight against climate change, deeply changing the way we power our homes and cities.

Most of us know that our brains become smaller in size as we get older, but did you know that diet and lifestyle have an effect on how well our brains work
Research shows that eating lots of fruit, vegetables and proteins (蛋白质) improves memory. 17 Eating oily fish or dark chocolate (with over 70% cocoa) and taking Vitamin D3 can also help make your memory stronger.
18 A 2011 study showed that regular exercise actually increases brain size. Another study found that exercise improved memory in some older people; surprisingly it found that one single training period had the same effect on memory as a regular, long exercise period!
One study found that eight weeks of short, daily meditation (默想) improved memory. Other ways to relax can also improve our short-term memory. Try taking 5-10 minutes of your day to meditate or listen to music. 19 Experts say that age reduces our ability to learn, but sleep can help. For your brain to work well, 7-9 hours of sleep is necessary. A 2019 study found that students learned things better before and after a short sleep!
20 Try to memorize information like phone numbers and addresses rather than putting the information in your phone. You could also learn a language or do brain training like crosswords (填字游戏) .
A.Or even just take a shower!
B.Use your phone to help you memorize things.
C.The role of exercise is really important too.

五、书面表达
【答案】例文:
Dear fellow students,
Life is full of ups and downs. No matter how happy we are, it’s normal to face some stress in our lives. As for me, I have a lot of pressure from my parents because they always want me to get good grades in all the exams. And they send me to various after-school classes on weekends. I feel very upset when I am under pressure.
We can get emotionally and physically sick if we have too much stress for too long, so we have to learn how to reduce it. First, we can do more exercise. It can help relax ourselves. Second, talk with others about our pressure. Talking is a very effective way to ease our pressure, and we may get some suggestions and solutions while talking.
It’s meaningless to complain about pressure. We should trust ourselves and believe that we can deal with pressure well.
