单元重点语法：状语从句
状语从句在句子中起状语作用，用来修饰主句中的动词、形容词或副词。根据其表达的逻辑关系，初中阶段主要掌握以下几类：
1. 时间状语从句 (Time)
常用引导词：when, while, as, before, after, since, until, as soon as。
考点：
主将从现：如果主句是将来时，从句要用一般现在时。
while 引导的从句动词必须是延续性动词。
课文例句：When I was little, I loved the amazing stories...
2. 条件状语从句 (Condition)
常用引导词：if, unless (除非，相当于 if...not)。
考点：
主将从现：主句用将来时（或含有情态动词），从句用一般现在时。
课文例句：If I move my fingers, it will come to life!
课文例句：I didn't want to be part of puppetry unless I was asked to.
3. 原因状语从句 (Reason)
常用引导词：because, as, since。
考点：
because 语气最强，回答 why 提出的问题。
注意：because 不能与 so 连用。
课文例句：I felt less close to the art because people thought puppets were too old-fashioned.
4. 让步状语从句 (Concession)
常用引导词：although, though, even though。
考点：
注意：although/though 不能与 but 连用，但可以与 yet 连用。
例句：Although it was raining, they still went out.
5. 目的与结果状语从句 (Purpose & Result)
常用引导词：so that (为了), so...that... (如此...以至于...), such...that...。
例句：He ran so fast that I couldn't catch him.
