When I was 12, my dad gave me a bike for my birthday. I was excited but scared—riding looked hard! Dad said, “Don't worry. I'll help you.”

When I was 12, my dad gave me a bike for my birthday. I was excited but scared—riding looked hard! Dad said, “Don't worry. I'll help you.”
On the first day, I held the handlebars(车把) tightly, but the bike and I fell. “I can't do this！” I said. Dad smiled, “You just need practise. Let's try again.” He ran beside me, holding the back of the bike to keep me steady(平稳的). After many falls, I could ride a little by myself.
