Good morning, everyone!
I’m Li Hua. Last week, my classmates and I volunteered at a nursing home. First, we cleaned the rooms and watered plants. Besides, we chatted with the elderly, sang songs, and even taught them simple exercises. It was a meaningful experience.
Why did we do this I believe helping others is the best way to help ourselves. By caring for the elderly, we learned patience and responsibility. What’s more, their smiles made us realize the joy of giving.
In my opinion, volunteering brings a strong feeling of satisfaction. It connects us with people in need and makes our world warmer. Let’s continue to spread kindness!
