My favorite book is Journey to the West. It was written by Wu Cheng'en, a great writer in the Ming Dynasty. This classic has been well - loved by people for hundreds of years.
The main character is Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. He is very powerful and full of courage. Tang Seng is a kind - hearted monk who is determined to go to the West to get Buddhist scriptures. Zhu Bajie is funny but a bit lazy, and Sha Seng is hard - working and reliable. They go through eighty - one difficulties on their journey. They meet all kinds of demons and monsters. Each time, they work together to overcome the challenges.
This book has taught me the importance of courage and teamwork. No matter how many difficulties we face, we should never give up. Just like the characters in the book, we can achieve our goals if we stick together and keep going. I've read this book several times, and each time I find something new and interesting. If you haven't read Journey to the West yet, I really recommend you to give it a try.
