Here is a report about the senior canteen in my community . In the canteen, old people can enjoy safe and fresh food at a low price. They can have their meals in the clean and bright dining hall. What’s more, the volunteers in the canteen are all kind and helpful.
Here are some suggestions to make it better. Firstly , it can plan the meals more carefully and provide a balanced diet with more vegetables and less oil. It is good for the old people to keep healthy. Secondly, special seats can be set for weak or disabled old people so that they can have meals more conveniently.Thirdly, the canteen can hold small cooking classes or health lectures once a month. These days, China has shocked the world once again. On the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, a groundbreaking program called WuBOT amazed audiences. In this performance,humanoid robots from Unitree Technology joined young martial artists from the Tagou Martial

Shantou now has 166 senior canteens covering all districts and counties. They are built under the“15-minute elderly care service circle” plan, so most elderly people can reach a canteen within a short walk. For those who can't move easily, volunteers from the canteens will deliver meals to their homes for free.
As the canteens warm the hearts of the elderly, they draw more people to join in.The number of volunteers is now ten times larger than before.Some people even give back after receiving help. An elderly woman who once ate there now helps prepare meals in Cunxin Senior Canteen. Besides meals, some canteens hold birthday parties or have chess corners, making them warm places for the elderly to connect with others.
