To protect Asian elephants, we need to do several things. First, we should stop buying ivory products. This will reduce the demand for ivory and stop hunting. Only by working together can we save these wonderful animals.

Wetlands are being destroyed, and some people hunt them for their feathers. When I first came here, there were only 20 cranes in the reserve.
Now, things are getting better. We have built fences to protect the wetlands. We also patrol the reserve every day to stop hunters. We provide food for the cranes in winter when food is scarce. Last year, 5 baby cranes were born here. Now the number of cranes has increased to 35.

Humans and Animals: Live in Harmony
Animals are our friends. They play an important role in keeping the balance of nature. However, many animals are now in danger. Humans are the main reason. We cut down forests, pollute rivers and hunt animals for money. For example, tigers are hunted for their fur and bones; elephants are killed for ivory; many birds lose homes because of deforestation.
If we don’t take action, many species will die out. What can we do to protect animals First, we should make strict laws to stop hunting and deforestation. Second, build more nature reserves for animals to live in. Third, we should not buy products made from endangered animals. Finally, we can tell our friends and family about the importance of animal protection.
Animals have the right to live on Earth. We should respect all living things. Let’s live in harmony with animals and make the world a better place for all.
