Learning Outside the Classroom
Learning doesn t only happen in the classroom. In my opinion, learning outside the
classroom helps us connect book knowledge with the real life, and it teaches us things we can t
learn from textbooks.
Last spring, I visited the city museum with my classmates. At first, I thought it might be
boring, but I was wrong. We saw ancient tools, old coins and beautiful pottery. A guide told us
how people lived thousands of years ago. What impressed me most was an old map showing
how our city changed over time. I learned that our ancestors worked hard to build a better life.
After the visit, I realized that history is not just words in a textbook. It is real stories left by real
people.

第五档（13~15分）

态等方面的错误或1~2个名词复数、第三人称单数、拼写、标点符号、大小写等方面的错误），但是
由于使用较复杂的表达方式所致，有效地使用了语句间的连接成分，使全文结构紧凑、内容充实，
体现了活跃的思维和清晰的逻辑，具备较强的语言运用能力，完全达到了预期的写作目的。
第四档（10~12分）
涵盖了所有内容要点，运用的语法结构和词汇能满足任务的要求，有一些语法结构或词汇
方面的错误（2个句子结构、时态、语态等方面的错误或3~4个名词复数、第三人称单数、拼写、标
点符号、大小写等方面的错误），但不影响对所写内容的理解；运用了简单的语句间的连接成
分，使全文内容连贯、内容完整、表达清楚，基本达到了预期的写作目的。
第三档（7~9分）
漏掉了一个内容要点，运用的语法结构和词汇能基本满足任务要求，有一些语法结构或词
汇方面的错误（3个句子结构、时态、语态等方面的错误或5~6个名词复数、第三人称单数、拼写、
标点符号、大小写等方面的错误），但不影响对所写内容的理解；运用了简单的语句间的连接成
分、内容连贯，信息得到较为清楚的传达。
第二档（4~6分）
漏掉了两个内容要点，语法结构简单，词汇贫乏，有较多的语法结构或词汇方面的错误（4
个句子结构、时态、语态等方面的错误或 7~8 个名词复数、第三人称单数、拼写、标点符号、大小
写等方面的错误），影响了对所写内容的理解，缺乏语句间的连接成分，内容不连贯，信息未能
清楚传达。
第一档（0~3分）
明显遗漏了主要内容，写了一些无关内容，有大量的语法结构或词汇方面的错误（5个以上
句子结构、时态、语态等方面的错误，或 9个以上名词复数、第三人称单数、拼写、标点符号、大小
写等方面的错误），所写内容无法理解，信息未能传达。

I m David, from a city in Shanxi province. During my winter vacation, I went to stay with
my grandma in the village. The first morning I woke up, I saw her already busy in the kitchen. She
was cooking and cleaning all by herself. I felt a little upset lying in bed while she did
everything.“ Grandma, let me help,” I said. She looked at me and smiled.“ You sure ” she asked. I
nodded and picked up the cleaning tool.
The yard was bigger than I thought, and it took me almost half an hour to sweep the whole
yard. My arms got sore, but I kept going. After that, I washed the vegetables and set the table.
Grandma kept telling me to rest, but I wanted to help more. Then I even fed the chickens. After
doing all the work, I felt tired but happy.
When we finally sat down for the meal, she looked at me with warm eyes. “You ve really
grown up.” Grandma gave me high praise. That day, I didn t do anything big—just some simple
chores. But seeing her smile made all the hard work worth it. I learned that your time and care

四、听力填空
The Stork Tower is a famous old tower in Yongji, Shanxi. It stands near the Yellow River.
People first built it a long time ago, in the Northern Zhou Dynasty.
Why is it called the Stork Tower Because in the past, storks often rested on the top of it.
That is how it got its name. The tower is about 74 meters high. When you climb up, you can see
the Yellow River and the green mountains far away. The view is wonderful. It makes you feel free
and happy.
A great poet named Wang Zhihuan wrote a poem about it in the Tang Dynasty. The poem says:
“The bright sun sets behind the mountains; the Yellow River runs into the sea. To see farther, climb
one more floor.” These lines are simple but strong. The poem teaches us to work hard and always
try to be better.
I want to visit the Stork Tower one day. I want to climb up and see the great river with my own
eyes. It is not simply an old tower. It is a place full of Chinese culture.
