Blue and white porcelain is one of the most well-known cultural products in China,with items made in Jingdezhen,Jiangxi Province,
considered the best in quality.
Cai Wenjuan’s parents and grandparents made blue and white porcelain here.Cai’s childhood memories are connected to ceramics,which led her to find her passion in painting as a girl.Even after graduating from Jingdezhen Ceramic University in 2006,she didn’t think about inheriting the family craft and became a saleswoman at a ceramic studio in Beijing back then.
After two years of selling ceramics,Cai was captivated by the blue and white porcelain.Then she quit her job and returned to her home town,starting a two-year learning experience of painting blue and white porcelain items.In 2012,Cai established her own ceramics-making company and two years later,she built a ceramics-themed brand.
Pushing the boundaries of the age-old practice,Cai puts blue and white patterns,inspired by Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) porcelain,on daily objects such as phone cases (手机壳),umbrellas,pillows and so on.So far,more than 1,000 kinds of cultural products have been sold by her company.“The charm and story behind the blue and white china can be told through the way the young generation feels connected,” Cai says,adding that china can be stylish.
As a provincial-level inheritor of the blue and white china-painting,she devotes herself to passing on the craft by combining the ancient charm with modern aesthetics.On a video-sharing platform,Cai has posted more than 60 video clips to popularise the craft and the culture behind it.“One day,I hope there are traditional Chinese elements everywhere in daily life,” Cai says.Like Cai,more young artists are considering careers in china-related businesses in Jingdezhen,with the local government rolling out supportive measures for a variety of start-ups (初创公司) in the field.

1.不可遗漏being。
在现在进行时的被动语态中,be为第一助动词,being为第二助动词,缺一不可,且位置不可互换。此结构若缺少being,则会成为一般现在时的被动语态或系表结构。试比较:

2.不可遗漏介词。
take care of、look after、talk about、think of等动词短语用于现在进行时的被动语态时,其中的介词不可省略。

不及物动词、非延续性动词和表示存在意义、所属关系、静态特征的动词以及系动词不用于被动语态。

The Beijing Opera band mainly consists of an orchestra and a percussion
(打击乐) band.The former frequently accompanies peaceful scenes while the latter provides the right atmosphere for battle scenes.The commonly used percussion instruments include castanets (响板),drums and bells.
Beijing Opera has about 200-year-long history.Its main melodies originated from Xipi and Erhuang in Hubei Province and Anhui Province respectively.
And over time,it absorbed music and arias (咏叹调) from other operas and musical arts such as the historic Qinqiang.Moreover,it is very strongly influenced by Kunqu,the form that preceded it as court art.Techniques from many other local operas were also incorporated into Beijing Opera.
It is believed that Beijing Opera gradually came into being after 1790 when the famous four Anhui opera troupes came to Beijing.Beijing Opera underwent fast development during the reign of Emperor Qianlong and the Empress Dowager Cixi under the patron,eventually becoming more accessible to the common people.
In ancient times,Beijing Opera was performed mostly on stage in the open air,teahouses or temple courtyards.Since the orchestra played loudly,the performers developed a piercing style of song that could be heard by everyone.Beijing Opera is a harmonious combination of the Grand Opera,ballet and acrobatics (杂技),consisting of dance,dialogues,
monologues (独白),martial arts and mime.In 1828,some famous Hubei troupes came to Beijing.They often jointly performed on stage with Anhui troupes.The combination gradually formed Beijing Opera’s main melodies.
