About the book:
Background

The story is about Monk Tang Sanzang and his three disciples—Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing—who travel west to get Buddhist scriptures. They face 81 difficulties. Even though the journey is full of challenges, they always help each other and never give up.
This book has taught me to be persistent and care about teamwork. They never stop even when things are hard. I’ve read it many times and still enjoy it. If you want an exciting and meaningful story, I recommend Journey to the West.
My favorite book is Journey to the West. It was written by Wu Cheng’en during the Ming Dynasty, and it’s one of China’s Four Great Classical Novels. It has been widely spread around the world.
