Four Treasures in the Study
In China, there are "Four Treasures in the Study" (文房四宝). They are the writing brush, the ink stick, the paper, and the ink stone.
Chinese people use the writing brush to write and paint. It is very special. To get ink (墨水), we need to rub (磨) the ink stick on the ink stone with some water. Then we can write beautiful Chinese characters(汉字) on the paper. These four things are very important for Chinese students and artists. They help us learn about Chinese culture.
