过去进行时基本结构和标志词:

句式 构成 例句
肯定式 主语+was/were+V-ing+其他. He was reading a book at 8 p.m. yesterday.
否定式 主语+was/were not+V-ing+其他. They were not playing football then.
一般疑问句 Was/Were+主语+V-ing+其他 Were you watching TV at that moment
肯定回答:Yes,主语+was/were. 否定回答:No,主语+was not/were not/wasn’t/weren’t. Yes, I was./we were.

常见易混点辨析
过去进行时VS一般过去式:
过去进行时侧重动作“持续进行的过程”;
一般过去时侧重动作“已完成的结果”。
