七选五答题技巧
七选五是英语考试中常见的阅读理解题型,主要考查考生对语篇结构、逻辑关系及上下文连贯性的理解与把握。其具体形式为:在一篇短文中预留5个空白处,要求考生从所给的7个选项中,选出最合适的5个填入空白处,使短文内容完整、逻辑通顺。
该题型的设空位置较为灵活,段首、段中、段尾均有涉及。结合近几年高考真题来看,七选五的体裁多为说明文,偶尔会出现记叙文或议论文;题材则十分广泛,涵盖日常生活、科普知识、环境保护、社会文化等多个领域,全面考查考生的语篇分析能力。

1.关注语篇结构 七选五语篇多采用“总一分一总”或“总一分”结构;一个规范的英文段落则通常包含三个关键要素:主题句、支撑句以及结论句。
2.运用衔接手段衔接
①语法衔接。主要通过代词的指代、词汇的替代和不影响意义理解的省略等手段实现。

3.把握逻辑关系
①因果关系。当前后两句之间是因果关系时,两句之间往往有表示原因或结果的关联词,例如because、so、as a result等。但有时是一种隐性的因果关系。
②条件关系。主句和从句之间存在条件关系,常见的关联词有if、unless、on condition that等。
③转折关系。指后句与前句内容在意义上形成对比、对立或意外情况,且后句才是说话人所要表达的真正意图。常见关联词有but、yet、while、however、on the contrary等。

⑥并列关系。指前后内容在意义上地位平等、相互并列,没有主次、轻重、先后的差异,通常表示同类事物、同等情况或相关概念的并列列举。常见的关联词有and、or、as well as、not only... but also...等。
