The water shortage problem will become worse, and more people will not have enough clean water to use.

关系从句（Relative Clause），也叫定语从句，是在句子中用来修饰名词 / 名词短语（我们称这个被修饰的名词为「先行词」）的从句。它的核心作用是：给先行词补充额外的、更具体的信息，让句子表达更完整、更精准，相当于一个「后置的形容词」。
