Possible Version I:
People have different ideas about whether we should recite English texts. In my opinion, reciting is very important for English learning.
First, reciting helps us remember new words and useful expressions. When we recite, we use them again and again, so they stick in our mind. Second, reciting can improve our speaking and writing skills. By repeating beautiful sentences, we learn how to use English naturally and correctly.
Of course, understanding the texts is necessary, but reciting helps us go further, so I believe reciting is a better way to learn English well.
Possible Version Ⅱ:
Some students think reciting English texts is necessary. However, I hold a different opinion. I believe there's no need to recite and that understanding is enough.
First, if we only recite without understanding, we cannot use the sentences properly. Understanding helps us know how to use words and follow grammar rules in real situations. Second, understanding can help us remember. When we truly understand a text, it stays in our mind longer, so reciting is unnecessary.
