课标分解 1.能通过听对话，选择或说出对话的主题、细节等关键信息； 2.能通过阅读对话，找出对话中的具体人物、时间、地点、原因等信 息：能选出或说出对话的主要内容； 3.能在语境中理解生词的意思，不妨碍听和阅读的理解。
语篇研读 本课两篇听力材料介绍了在沙漠中太阳能的应用。属于“人与自然”范畴。第一篇听力材料介绍了沙漠中太阳能的应用，如带有风扇的太阳能遮阳帽，太阳能厨具和太阳能充电站。第二篇材料介绍了中国宁夏的农光一体化光伏电站，太阳能发电站不仅为数百万人提供了电力，而且在光伏板下方种植枸杞，把荒芜沙漠改造成生态绿洲，并带动当地居民增收。通过学习，学生们加深了对太阳能的理解和认识，看到了我国在推广利用新型清洁能源方面做出的重大成绩，了解到科技在利用自然和改造自然方面的重要作用。
学情 分析 已有基础 - 认知层面：授课对象为初中八年级学生，已经具备基础英语听说读写能力，掌握一般现在时基础句型，能够听懂简单的英文介绍、完成基础信息填空； - 生活经验：学生日常对太阳能、风力发电等清洁能源有初步耳闻，知道沙漠、荒漠化等环境问题，具备相关生活常识铺垫，容易共情文本环保主题； 学习难点 - 语言难点：goji berries、solar panel等陌生主题生词，部分学生容易混淆cover、provide等动词的词义与用法； - 认知拓展难点：学生对大型光伏电站“板上发电、板下种植、沙漠变绿洲”的复合生态模式了解较少，难以深度理解工程背后的环保价值。
学习 目标 通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1.在语境中理解并识记词汇，理解太阳能及清洁能源的基本概念。（学习理解） 2.完成关于Mike沙漠经历和太阳能电站的听力任务，精准提取关键信息。（应用实践） 3.运用所学词汇与表达，小组合作，口头描述如何利用自然资源。（应用实践） 4.思考清洁能源对环境和生活的积极意义，初步形成环保意识。（迁移创新）
评价任务 评价标准
1．在听、读中识记生词意思（指向目标1） 能正确读并说出单词；
2．听对话，能够听后选出主旨大意并记录关键信息。（指向目标2） 听对话准确完成相关任务；
3．能够使用核心词汇和相关表达完成自然资源话题对话。（指向目标3，4） 参与讨论，表达正确
