(2026·湖北黄冈·三模)I was sitting next to Missy when Mrs. Bartlett announced a group project: creating a newspaper about the culture we were studying. We listed three friends we wanted to work with. Missy and I exchanged confident smiles—we’d chosen each other. Mrs. Bartlett informed us that she would consider our choice and would let us know the results the next day.
The next morning, when the bell finally rang, I slid into my seat beside Missy. Mrs. Bartlett began reading group lists. Group One, Group Two—then Group Three. Missy’s name was called. Good, I thought, I’m in Group Three. But as she read the remaining names, mine never came. My stomach tightened.
Then I heard the last group: “Karina, Mauro, Juliette, Rachel.” I could feel the tears well in my eyes. How could I face being in that group: the boy who never did his homework, the one girl who always sat in the back and refused to speak, and the other girl who was always late for class
I fought back tears as I walked up to Mrs. Bartlett. “Why ” I whispered.
She rested a gentle hand on my shoulder. “Well, Karina,” she said, “I need you to help your group get a passing grade on this assignment. Only you can help them.”
Her words struck me like a physical blow. All this time, I’d seen myself as someone who needed the right group — but she saw me as someone who could lead one.
“Will you help them ” she asked.
I stood straighter. “Yes,” I heard myself say, surprising even myself.
I bravely walked to where the others in my group sat, and we started awkwardly. But as we divided tasks—Mauro on finding pictures, Juliette on writing short articles, Rachel on designing the layout(布局)—
something changed. The awkwardness faded into cooperation.

(2026·山东日照·三模)Elara had long been well-known for her sympathy and willingness to reach out to the marginalized(边缘群体). On many weekends, she devoted her spare time to a local charity, assisting with the distribution of daily supplies and providing company to those living rough.
One bitterly cold evening in late January, a sharp wind swept through the streets. Passersby buried their chins in their scarves and hurried along, desperate to escape the bitter cold. As she passed an abandoned alley(小巷), Elara caught sight of a thin figure in the corner. It was a middle-aged woman, wrapped in a ragged blanket that hardly protected her from the freezing wind. Her cheeks were flushed with cold, and beside her lay only a few worn belongings. It was obvious that she had been homeless for a long time.
A surge of pity overwhelmed Elara. She thought of her warm home, the steaming meals prepared by her family, and the warm bed she had always taken for granted. In sharp contrast, this stranger had none of these comforts. “Are you okay ” she approached gently and asked. The woman lifted her head, her eyes clouded with weariness. “Just trying to get through the night,” she whispered. “And I’ve been wandering the streets for months, going hungry and struggling to survive the cold nights.”
Elara’s heart ached. “Wait here,” she said. She rushed to a nearby shop and used her savings to buy a cup of hot soup, a warm bread roll and a thick pair of gloves. Handing them over, she said, “This should warm you up a bit — take your time, it’s all yours.” The woman’s eyes watered with tears, her lower lip trembling slightly as she took the items. “Thank you, dear—you have no idea how much this means,” she murmured, her voice thick with emotion.

(2026·陕西宝鸡·三模)The old community library on Pine Street was a place frozen in time. For seventeen-year-old Liam, it was simply a shortcut on his way home, a dusty building he barely noticed. The windows were cloudy, and the once-inviting flower beds out front were now overgrown with weeds. It had been like this for years, a silent, forgotten corner of the neighborhood.
Everything changed when a new young librarian, Ms. Anya, arrived. She had bright ideas and boundless energy, but a tiny budget. One Saturday, Liam saw her struggling alone, trying to move a heavy bookshelf. Sweat dripped from her forehead. On impulse, Liam stepped in to help. After they managed to shift the shelf, Ms. Anya smiled gratefully. “Thank you! I’m trying to get this place ready for the Children’s Reading Week, but there’s just so much to do,” she sighed, looking around the cluttered room.
Liam felt a pang of sympathy. Later that day, the image of Ms. Anya working alone wouldn’t leave him. He remembered how his own little cousin loved stories but had nowhere nice to go in their neighborhood. He decided he had to do something. That evening, he posted a message in the community chat group: “The library needs our help. Who’s free this weekend to give it a clean-up ” He included a picture of the messy interior.
The next morning, Liam arrived at the library, unsure if anyone would come. He waited for ten anxious minutes. Then, to his surprise, he saw his classmate Mei carrying a bucket of cleaning supplies. “I saw your post. I love this old place,” she said. Soon after, Mr. Evans, a retired painter who lived down the street, arrived with his brushes. “Heard you need a hand, son,” he boomed. A few more neighbors, young and old, trickled in, armed with tools and goodwill. They weeded the garden, wiped the windows, and sorted through piles of books.

(2026·陕西·三模)18-year-old Mia Carter volunteered with the Digital Literacy for Social Inclusion initiative, dedicating her Saturdays to the local community center. There, she offered the old guidance through the digital world — showing how to tell truth from AI-generated fiction, helping access important services with a few careful clicks and so on. Yet one person still struggled: Mr. Arthur Hale, an 82-year-old widower(鳏夫)whose world had slowly shrunk to the quiet rooms of his lonely home.
A smartphone from his granddaughter Lila overseas sat unused on his side table, gathering dust. “It’s too much,” he’d murmur to Mia, his hands—once skilled in the gentle art of gardening — now moving nervously. The digital age had left him behind in clear ways: a missed heart doctor appointment, the ongoing silence where his granddaughter’s laughter should have been, the quiet frustration of struggling with a QR code at the drugstore. The man who once shared pieces from his rose bushes now spent hours looking out the window, as if watching the world speed by like a train he wasn’t on.
Mia understood the real problem was not skill, but heart. For many like Mr. Hale, technology felt less like a tool and more like a sign that they were being ignored, a quiet conversation happening in a place they could no longer join.
One rainy afternoon, she found him staring at his phone’s black screen, a single tear moving slowly down his wrinkled cheek. He had accidentally deleted the last good photo of his beloved wife. “I only wanted to see Lila,” he whispered, the words floating in the still room. “Was that too much to ask ” Mia’s heart ached. She promised him she’d help, not just with the phone, but with letting go of his fear. That evening, she stayed up late, making a simple, step-by-step guide with large pictures and clear words —just for him.

(2026·广西南宁·三模)My three-year-old brother Cody, and I, aged six, were in the back seat when the snowstorm started. Fat clumps(簇)of white, like a million cotton balls, landed on our car and stuck there. Unlike our usual chatty trips, the car was quiet. Cody had a high fever at Grandma’s house that afternoon. Grandma lived in a remote village with no easy medical help, so we had to rush back to the city to see a doctor. In the hour since we’d left Grandma’s house, the weather was worse.
“It’s getting harder to see anything,” Dad whispered to Mom.
Mom nodded, glancing back at Cody worriedly. “The forecast mentioned snow showers, but this looks more serious.”
I pressed my face against the cold window. A car followed us closely. On the passenger seat was a medical kit with a faint white cross. Doctors often use such bags for home visits, but I didn’t know the driver was a doctor then.
Suddenly, our car slid to the side. My heart pounded. Dad managed to straighten the wheel and stay on the road. “We need to drive off and wait out this storm. Cody will get worse in this condition. But I can barely see the road, let alone an exit,” Dad said.
“Dad, a sign!” I shouted. High in the sky, the sign of a restaurant blinked(闪烁): EAT HERE.
“Are you sure, Kenny ” Dad asked and slowly pulled over to check.
Then, through the thick snow, I saw the lights of that car coming up behind us. It slowed down and stopped aside ours. Its window rolled down. “Need help ” The driver leaned out and asked.
“Do you know how to get there ” Dad pointed to the sign and said urgently.

(2026·湖北武汉·三模)Adam loved football. He loved the smell of the grass as he slid across it. And he loved the excitement when he shot the ball into the net. There was nothing in this world that could weigh the same as football in his heart. He dreamed of growing up to be a professional footballer.
Every day Adam would go to the field and practise with his friends. He still remembered when he asked to join the older boys, they teased(取笑)him, “You’re too small. Football is for big, tough players, not for someone your size.” Then when they saw he could run, kick, and shoot as well as they could, the teasing stopped. Adam played hard and really had a gift. He even became the only one in the group who could do the bicycle kick(倒挂金钩)!
One day after school, Adam went to the playground to practise as usual. The boys were talking quietly, casting excited glances at a man who was watching the field. As Adam joined the group, Captain Harold told him the man, called Mr. Smith, was looking for players for his football camp and there would be a tryout match the next day. Adam could hardly contain his excitement. The camp meant there would be professional coaches to train him! He would do anything to join it.
After the practice, Mr. Smith approached and Adam crowded close so he could see him. “Who wants to come to my football camp and really learn to play this game ” Mr. Smith asked. Excited hands shot up. Mr. Smith shook them all and shook Adam’s hand last.
“Little man, I saw you run fast,” he said. “But you are far too thin and short for my camp. You’ll get knocked down in a second.”
Adam looked down so no one would see his disappointment. “It’s not fair! Adam’s been practising with us and he’s the only one who ever did the bicycle kick!” Harold argued.

(2026·湖南·三模)I stared sadly at the bills spread across the kitchen table. The pile, growing larger and more depressing every day, totally consumed my thoughts. I felt hopeless as I opened another envelope and saw the bold red letters — “Past Due”. With a frustrated sigh, I threw the bill back, murmuring helplessly.
This had been my life since my husband Bill died and I lost my work the year before: dealing with past-dues and final notices until I broke down in tears, and trying to decide which bills had to be paid immediately and which could be delayed. I was terrified to answer the phone, fearing it was a collection agency threatening to take my car or cut off my electricity. Yet I dared not ignore it. Trapped in such a dilemma, I felt deeply ashamed and just wanted to hide in bed. I had to struggle to survive, but I had already lost hope of pulling through.
I seldom opened the door to anyone these days, but when I heard one loud tap and three softer ones, I knew it was Judy, my best friend. She invented her special knock so that I would know it was her and not rush into my bedroom to hide. I didn’t always want to see Judy, but I knew if I didn’t let her in, she would worry more than she usually did about me.
I forced myself to get up from my chair and go to the door. Judy yelled when seeing me. “You don’t have to say anything,” she said. “I can see it in your face.” She took me by the shoulders and gently pushed me backward, shaking her head. “I can also see it in your messy hair.”
Judy gave me a steady stare that she had mastered from teaching middle-school kids for fifteen years. “And we’re going to fix it.”
I pointed to the bills on the table. “That You’re going to fix that ”
Judy took my arm and led me back to the table. “No,” she said firmly. “You. You need fixing first.”

(2026·河南安阳·三模)In a freezing cold midwinter, there was a pregnant dog walking through the night seeking shelter in a village. She scanned the roadside for a home where the new life growing inside her might rest safely for the night. She labored along without complaint, her way made heavier and heavier as she inched forward. She needed a warm and dry place safe from the bitter wind and snow. She might need to give birth before long, but she couldn’t do it right here on the roadside
Gus, a wildlife officer who worked closely with a local animal shelter, was driving home from work when he spotted the dog in the flash of his headlights. It was snowing so hard and it was difficult to see, but he could tell the dog was wearing a collar with a tag. Gus parked his truck and approached the dog slowly. He stretched out his hands to the poor dog and read her tags by his truck’s headlights: She was a pregnant dog named Pepper, with the owner’s phone number “ten” on the tag. He fished out his phone from his pocket to call the number listed, but it was snowing so hard that his phone’s screen was blurred by the snow. Gus put the dog in his truck, and cleared the snow on the screen. Then he called the number from the dog’s tag inside the truck. A man answered immediately but grew defensive when Gus told him why he was calling. The man said that he had given the dog away. When asked who he had given the dog to, the man became impatient, just replying that he didn’t know the names of the people. Then when Gus asked if he wanted the dog back, the man said he wouldn’t take care of her and hung up the phone right after that.

(2026·河南许昌·三模)It was the day of the big science fair(科技展). For months, Sarah had poured her heart into her project—a detailed model of a sustainable city. She carefully carried her model into the school hall, feeling very proud. The hall was full of noise as students set up their projects.
As Sarah walked through the crowd carefully, a boy, who was stepping back to look at his friend’s volcano, suddenly crashed into her. The crash was hard and unexpected. Sarah cried in horror as her model fell from her hands, hitting the floor and breaking into many small pieces.
The noise silenced the whole hall. All eyes turned to Sarah and the boy, whose face had turned pale. “I... I’m so sorry!” he said, his voice shaking with fear and guilt. “I didn’t see you.” Sarah stood completely frozen, staring at the broken pieces on the floor. She had spent so many hours building it. A hot wave of tears pressed behind her eyes, but she forced them back, refusing to let them fall in front of everyone. The science fair would start in just one hour, but her dream lay in pieces at her feet.
The boy, named Leo, immediately bent and began picking up the broken pieces. “This is all my fault,” he said, his head hung low. But then, he looked up, his look shifting from despair to sudden determination. “But we can’t just give up! Please, let me help you fix this. We can do it together!” Sarah was upset, but she saw that Leo was truly sorry. Taking a deep breath, she gave a slow, hesitant nod.
With that, Leo quickly called his friends over. Everyone was glad to lend a hand. A team was soon formed. Some cleaned up the broken pieces while others raced to the art room to find new materials like paper, glue and small lights.

(2026·河南南阳·三模)I bought hiking shoes when my heart was broken, hoping that hiking along the Lycian Way on the southwest coast of Türkiye would reset the pieces inside me. I asked my friend Masha to join me, and as the two of us started out from Patara, I felt at ease and ready to go.
After a rainless summer, the ground was baked dry and dotted with tough bushes. Color came from the pines bursting out of rocks and the wild berries ripening on path-side trees. Occasionally, one or two little squirrels were seen running about on the branches. The red waymarks painted on stones were the only thing guiding inexperienced hikers like us through this labyrinth(迷宫)of wild coastline. As we climbed uphill, I could see the winding path behind us like a kite tail.
Masha and I talked and laughed as we hiked. But after hours of walking, the route became more difficult. Our muscles ached, and our feet blistered. Suddenly, we realized that we had lost sight of the waymarks. Our simple map pointed us toward a thorn-encrusted(布满荆棘的)hill, but we pushed on.
Everything that was so charming before now seemed determined to break us. I fought off the forest with my body, sacrificing my skin to move aside the spiky plants that blocked me. I didn’t want to admit to myself or to Masha that we were on the wrong path.
Every step was a cruel reminder of our mistakes. The same trail that had made me feel a sense of victory on the way up now seemed to be laughing at us with its thorns and loose stones. My legs trembled with tiredness, and the scratches on my arms hurt with each movement. Masha walked silently beside me, and the absence of our earlier laughter weighed heavily between us. I wanted to apologize, to say that pushing forward had been my idea, my stubbornness, but the words stuck in my throat like the dust coating our skin.

(2026·山西吕梁·三模)Austin, who’d been called a “quitter” by his 12-year-old brother, Beau, for not finishing the school’s 1500m swimming championship, was frustrated all the morning. He went to the beach with his mother Joanne and Beau, trying to forget the shame of letting his family down. For hours, the family played in the calm water. Without any warning, strong winds suddenly picked up. Before they knew it, the family was being pushed farther and farther from the shore. “We lost oars(船桨), and we were dragged out further. It all went wrong very, very quickly,” Joanne recalled.
Realizing they were in serious trouble, Joanne made an impossible decision. She asked Austin to try to reach the shore and get help while she stayed behind with Beau. “One of the hardest decisions I ever had to make was to say to Austin: ‘Try and get to the shore and get some help,’” she later said.
Austin set off in a kayak(皮划艇), but it soon began taking on water. He lost an oar and the kayak rolled over. Eventually, he was forced to abandon it altogether. Austin said, “I started paddling(划水)with my arm.” With no kayak and eventually no life jacket, Austin made the choice to swim.
For what seemed ages, he battled rough waves and exhaustion, swimming about 4 kilometers toward the shore. Along the way, he lost sight of his family and they lost sight of him. “I was really scared... I just said, ‘Not today. Not today. Not today. I have to keep on going.’”
As the sun began to set, Joanne feared the worst. Out at sea, the remaining two grasped firmly to a paddleboard, wearing life jackets but with no food or water as the waves grew bigger and the cold set in. They sang songs, encouraged each other and tried to stay positive as darkness closed in. Meanwhile, Austin kept going. “I was thinking about mum and my dear brother,” he said.
Finally, just after 6 p.m., Austin reached the shore. Barely able to stand, Austin managed to find his mother’s bag, made the emergency call, and then collapsed.

Halfway through the week, I felt myself enjoying their company. I was no longer counting minutes until the bell rang. I found myself explaining a concept to Mauro, not with impatience, but with a genuine desire for him to understand. I listened, truly listened, to Juliette’s careful explanations about her writing. I laughed at a witty headline Rachel proposed. The day before the presentation, we were the last to leave. As we stood back to look at our project, a quiet pride settled over us. We had made this together.
On presentation day, Mrs. Bartlett listened with a soft smile. Afterward, she handed back our project. A bold “A” was circled at the top. But as I looked at my group—at Mauro’s proud grin, Juliette’s shy smile, Rachel’s confident nod—I knew the real grade wasn’t on the paper. Mrs. Bartlett hadn’t just given me a group; she had given me a new way to see things. I learned that sometimes, the people you never thought you’d understand may become the lesson you never forget.

But to Elara’s surprise, the woman did not rush to eat or drink. Instead, she struggled to her feet and limped deeper into the dark alley, holding the warm food tightly. Curious and concerned, Elara followed quietly and saw several other homeless figures crouched in the shadows — an elderly man, a young mother with a child. The woman knelt down and shared the bread and soup among them, her face lit with a warm kind smile. “We look after each other here,” she said softly. Seeing such extraordinary generosity from someone who had nothing, Elara stood there frozen, tears welling up in her eyes.
Witnessing the woman’s selflessness, Elara decided to do more. She immediately pulled out her mobile phone and contacted the charity she worked for, proposing an emergency relief program for the homeless. With her colleagues’ support, she organized a weekend donation drive, calling on the community to donate blankets, warm clothes, and ready-to-eat meals. She also shared the woman’s story on social media, which touched thousands of hearts. Within a week, supplies flooded in, and volunteers lined up to help. Elara realized that one small act of kindness could inspire a wave of compassion powerful enough to change people’s lives.

As the sun began to set, the tired but happy volunteers looked at their achievement. The windows sparkled, allowing the evening light to flood the once-dim room. The books were neatly organized on clean shelves, and the air smelled fresh. Mr. Evans had even painted a beautiful mural of storybook characters on one wall. Ms. Anya’s eyes were filled with tears of gratitude. “I couldn’t have done this without you all,” she said. Liam felt a warm glow inside and a sense of shared purpose and pride.
On the first day of the Children’s Reading Week, the library was buzzing with life. Dozens of children sat on the clean floor, their eyes wide with wonder as Ms. Anya read them a story. Parents chatted happily in the bright reading corner. The air was filled with laughter and the sound of turning pages. Seeing the joy on the children’s faces, Liam understood the true meaning of their labor. It wasn’t just about cleaning a building; it was about building connections and creating a warm, welcoming space for everyone. He knew this was just the beginning of their community’s new story.

On her next day visit, Mia sat beside Mr. Hale and picked up his smartphone. “Let’s start with what you love,” she said gently, opening the camera. “How about a picture of your roses for Lila ” She guided his trembling hands, turning taps into familiar gestures—like tending to buds. “Just tap this, and you’ll see Lila,” she said softly. Mr. Hale’s hands shook as he followed her steps. The screen lit up, and his granddaughter’s face appeared. “Grandpa!” she cried. For a minute, he couldn’t speak, just staring and smiling through tears. He asked about her life, showed her his rose garden, and even learned to send a heart emoji. When the call ended, he squeezed Mia’s hand: “Thank you for bringing my granddaughter back to me.”
Weeks later, a digital help corner opened in the community. Mia invited other college volunteers, and they tailored lessons to the elderly: how to book doctor’s appointments online, scan QR codes, and even use AI to edit garden photos. Mr. Hale became a volunteer too, teaching his friends what he’d learned. One day, he showed Mia a short video he’d made of his roses, with a voice over saying, “Thank you for not leaving us behind, but with us letting go of fear.” The digital divide wasn’t just about skills — it was about care. In the digital age, Mia realized, kindness was the best bridge between generations.

“I’m heading there, too. Follow me!” He shouted. The driver drove slowly ahead, flashing his lights to guide us through the thick snow. Thanks to his guidance, we smoothly found the exit and pulled into the restaurant’s parking lot. Upon arriving, Dad immediately carried Cody inside. “Without your help, I can’t imagine what would have happened,” Dad said in a trembling voice. “My younger son is suffering from a high fever.” Hearing this, the driver replied calmly, “Don’t worry. I am a doctor.” Then he went out and returned with his medical kit.
Immediately, the driver opened his medical kit and checked Cody. He took Cody’s temperature, checked his chest and looked at his throat with a flashlight. The whole process witnessed his professional and considerate care for my sick brother. Finally, he gave Cody some medicine and said, “The medicine will work soon. He will be fine.” Hearing what he said, we were greatly relieved and grateful. Despite the cold snow outside, warmth flowed through our hearts. It was that night that I realized kindness can melt even the heaviest snowstorm.

Inspired, Adam decided to seize the opportunity. Gathering all his courage, Adam stepped up, looked directly at Mr. Smith and said, “Sir, I really love football and I’ve got tired of hearing people say I’m too small to play. Actually I could do as well as the big boys and even better!” Hearing Adam’s words, Mr. Smith raised his eyebrows and thought for a while. Seeing Mr. Smith hesitate slightly, Adam begged him sincerely for a chance. Finally, Mr. Smith nodded and told him to come the next day.
The next day Adam came to the tryout. The players were divided into two groups and Adam ran actively through the field, seeking a chance to goal. Soon, Harold passed him the ball! Adam positioned himself, jumped as high as he could and kicked the ball with his head down. The ball flew directly into the net! A perfect bicycle kick! When Mr. Smith announced the qualified players, Adam’s heart pounded fiercely. Hearing his name, he hugged Harold and jumped with excitement.

With those words, Judy took out a notebook and a pen from her bag. She sat me down and told me to list every single bill, no matter how small or frightening. At first, I hesitated, my hands trembling as I stared at the numbers, still trapped in despair. But Judy sat patiently, never rushing me, her warm gaze calming my nerves. She told me that facing the problem bravely was the first step to change, and that I was not alone in this struggle. Gradually, I relaxed and wrote down the debts one by one, as if lifting a heavy weight from my heart.
Under Judy’s careful guidance, I started to take action. I sorted the bills by deadline on my own, marking the most urgent ones with a red pen and setting aside the ones that could be negotiated. I gathered my courage to call each company, stammering at first but growing more confident as I explained my situation and asked for a delayed payment plan. I also made a detailed budget, cutting unnecessary expenses to save every penny. As I checked off each small task, I finally smiled for the first time in months. No longer overwhelmed by fear, I felt hope returning. With Judy’s silent support, I knew I could face life’s difficulties bravely and rebuild my world one step at a time.

Gus put down the phone and looked at Pepper with a soft heart. His heart was filled with deep pity for Pepper, for he could never bear to leave her homeless in the freezing snow. He knew he must offer her a safe shelter. With gentle kindness in mind, he called the local animal shelter, explained what was going on and asked if they could adopt Pepper. Luckily, the staff agreed to take her in without hesitation. He drove Pepper along the country road to the shelter. Safe and warm, she soon settled down in a cozy corner. No longer would she suffer from the bitter wind and heavy snow alone.
A week later, Gus received a sweet call from the local animal shelter. News came that Pepper had given birth to several healthy little puppies, safe and sound. Thrilled at the news, Gus drove to the shelter. Hardly had he stepped into the shelter when he spotted Pepper with her newborn babies. At the sight of Gus, Pepper wagged her tail softly to show her gratitude. Surrounded by soft blankets, she kept her eyes on him, full of quiet trust and thanks. It was this small kindness that warmed the cold winter thoroughly, and a little care can always light up helpless little lives.

An hour later, the science fair began. Sarah and Leo stood side by side as the first visitors approached. Their model, though bearing visible traces of hurried repair, glowed with a new warmth — tiny lights blinked along repainted streets, and a small label read: “Rebuilt with Heart & Teamwork.” Sarah explained the original sustainable design, while Leo quietly pointed out the reinforcements they had added together. A low hum of admiration rose from the crowd gathering around their table.
The judges were deeply impressed. Not only by the model’s clever use of recycled materials, but by the story of resilience it represented. During the award ceremony, when Sarah’s project was announced as the winner of the “Innovation and Spirit” special award, the entire hall broke into applause. As Sarah accepted the certificate, she made sure Leo stood beside her. Afterward, while carefully placing the model into a box, Sarah turned to Leo. “You know,” she said softly, “this version is even better than the first.” Leo smiled, looking at the once-broken pieces now firmly bonded. They had not just fixed a project — they had built something lasting from a moment of accident.

Suddenly, Masha brushed away the dust on a stone and a mark appeared. It was the familiar red waymark we had been longing for. A wave of relief washed over us instantly. Looking at the bright red sign, I let out a long sigh of regret. I finally apologized to Masha for my stubbornness, which had gotten us into such terrible trouble. To my surprise, she smiled gently and comforted me, saying it was just a precious lesson on this journey. Despite our exhaustion, hope burned brightly in our hearts again.
Following the marks, we stepped onto the right trail. The harsh thorns were left behind, and gentle wind brushed our dusty cheeks. As the golden sunlight streamed through pine leaves, the scenery looked warmer than ever. We walked slowly, sharing our true feelings sincerely. Tired as we were, we felt peaceful and joyful. This tough hike taught me that pain and mistakes are part of life. Only by bravely going through the hardships can we truly reset our broken hearts and embrace a brand-new self.

Fortunately, a rescue team arrived on the scene without delay. They immediately sped toward the area where Joanne and Beau were trapped. Fighting strong winds and huge waves, the rescuers soon located Joanne and Beau several kilometers offshore, who had been struggling in the cold water for hours. Beau was freezing and Joanne had lost feeling in her legs. They approached cautiously and finally pulled them onto the boat safely. When Austin learned his family had been rescued, he breathed a sigh of relief. Having been waiting anxiously for a long time, he was overjoyed to see his family and the rescuers around him.
The rescuers gave Austin a thumbs-up for what he had done for his family. One rescuer praised him as “a superhero,” while another said his bravery could never be praised enough. Despite the praise, he said he had just done the right thing. Beau looked at Austin with admiration and apologized for his previous words, saying “You’re a real winner!” At that moment, Austin felt all the frustration and shame disappear. He hadn’t finished the 1500m swimming championship, but he had finished something far more important — he had brought his family home.考前冲刺练06读后续写

【答案】

【答案】

Paragraph 2:
Weeks later, a digital help corner opened in the community. ______________________________________
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
【答案】

【答案】

【答案】

【答案】

【答案】

【答案】
