From November 19 to 23, 2025, a special exhibition named “Hanzi of the West, Letters of the East” took place in London, UK. The exhibition included historical displays of Chinese characters, creative modern designs, and 1 (interest) talks among scholars (学者) and visitors.
Organized by Tongji University and China’s Art and Design Press, the exhibition showed over 100 original 2 (work) inspired by Chinese characters (hanzi). Through the theme of hanzi, it told wonderful 3 (story) about China and the friendly cultural exchanges between China and Britain.
Wu Yun, dean (院长) of Tongji’s School of Foreign Studies, said that hanzi and alphabetic letters are not opposites 4 good partners — both can record sounds, mark meanings and express people’s true 5 (feel), and they are a part of human culture.
The exhibition has two main parts. One part 6 (show) how artists and designers use hanzi to create works like book design, fashion, installation art and cultural products, making hanzi more lively and popular; 7 other part introduced hanzi’s history: how it was first brought to the West and early efforts to systematize (使系统化) Chinese movable type before the 20th century. The 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala had a very fun show called Wu BOT (武BOT). In this show, robots did Chinese kung fu with young students. Many people loved it and talked about it.
The robots 1 (make) by Unitree (宇树) Technology, a Chinese company. They are called Unitree G1. These robots did many cool moves. They 2 (show) drunken boxing (醉拳), used nunchaku (双截棍), and even did parkour (跑酷)! On stage, they worked with students from Tagou Martial Arts School. The robots moved smoothly and worked well with the students. The company also encouraged the students 3 (learn) from the robots’ movements.
This year’s show was much 4 (good) than last year’s. In 2025, the robots could only 5 (do) simple group dances. They could not do kung fu moves. These kung fu moves are very 6 (challenge) for robots. But this year, they did difficult moves 7 (easy). This shows how fast robot technology is growing in China.

Rehovot is a small and quiet city in the Middle East, like many others, but it has the 1 (big) outdoor science park on the planet. The Clore Garden of Science, the first outdoor science museum, regularly 2 (allow) visitors to create their own experiences.

Do you know the largest nature park in China It is Sanjiangyuan National Park on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau (青藏高原) .“Sanjiangyuan” 1 (mean) the source of China’s three great rivers the Yangtze River, Yellow River and Lancang River. The Yangtze River is the 2 (long) of the three.
Sanjiangyuan is famous as the Water Tower of China or even Asia. There 3 (be) lots of rivers, lakes, and wetlands. People living around all depend on rich natural resources (资源) of it.
