Helping others can make a big difference to people’s lives. It doesn’t take much effort to lend a hand.
Two years ago, on my way back home, I noticed an elderly blind man by the roadside. I found it a challenge for him to cross the road alone. I thought there must be something for me to do. So I asked him if he needed help. He nodded with a smile. To my surprise, when we were walking across the road, the drivers on the road all stopped and waited patiently. I was deeply touched by their kindness. After crossing the road, the elderly man smiled brightly and thanked me happily.
Even today, I still feel lucky to have had such an amazing experience in life.From this experience, I learned that a small act of kindness can bring happiness not only to others but also to ourselves. In the future, I’ll always be willing to offer a helping hand to people in need.

At home, we need to care for our family members and help them do chores. It can reduce their pressure and make them feel relaxed. What’s more, we should try our best to help people in need.
