Early this spring, Jiang Zhihang and his classmates got together at Mount Huangshan in Anhui. It wasn’t a common trip. They enjoyed the beautiful sights, and learned about geography in the large national park.
Now such study trips are becoming popular (受欢迎的) in schools in China. Students can get to know more about culture, history and nature.

In a school garden in Ningxia, the roles of students are not the same as those before. Here, students do the teaching.
“This is our vegetable area,” a student from Grade 8 tells a visitor. “We have grown many kinds of vegetables.”
“Look! These are tomatoes,” another student adds, “and those are carrots...”
