1.Where did Hurricane Katrina form And where did it hit
Katrina formed on the Atlantic Ocean, where there was a tropical depression.
It hit mainly the Southern states, including the south of Florida, New Orleans, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

It is one of the costliest natural disasters in US history, causing USD 108 billion in damage. It claimed more than 1800 lives.
