Have you ever seen a glacier (冰川) Glaciers are huge rivers of ice. They are one of nature’s most powerful forces. You can find them in very cold places, like Greenland and Antarctica.

Tao Yong is an excellent ophthalmologist (眼科医生) at Beijing Chao-yang Hospital. His journey from getting hurt to helping others again has touched many people.
In 2020, something bad happened to Tao when he was working at the hospital. His head, neck, and hands were hurt badly, and he couldn’t use his left hand as well as before. It made him experience the darkest time of his life.
Many people thought he might not be able to go back to work. However, he loved being a doctor and he wanted to help those in need. So more than three months later, he went back to work. Last Sunday, 10-year-old Lily was at home alone. Her parents went to the supermarket and told her to stay at home and not open the door for strangers.
