Phileas Fogg was a rich English gentleman, who lived a very regular life. One day, he made a bet with his friends at the club: he could travel around the world in eighty days. All his friends thought it was impossible, but Mr. Fogg was sure he could do it. That same evening, he left London with his servant Passepartout, and started their amazing journey.

When they missed the ship to Japan, he hired a small boat to get there. He cared more about keeping his promise to his friends, and making sure his travelling companions were safe.
After many adventures, Mr. Fogg and his friends finally returned to London. They thought they had missed the deadline, but later they found out they had arrived one day earlier, because they had travelled east around the world. Mr. Fogg won the bet, and he also found true love with Aouda.
