Qomolangma (also spelled Chomolungma) comes from the Tibetan language.
Qomo (Jomo): means "Goddess" or "Holy Mother" (女神,圣母).
Langma: means "Third"
Other names:
English: Mount Everest (named after British surveyor George Everest).
Nepali: Sagarmatha ("Peak of Heaven").
Only the best climbers reach the top of Qomolangma. 只有最优秀的登山者才能登上珠穆朗玛峰顶。
