It is a good idea to make a list before you go shopping. Some people do not like to make a shopping list because it takes time. However, there are many reasons why you should make one.
Firstly, a shopping list helps you to save time. When you write the list, you should put the things in different groups. For example, you can write down all the fruit and vegetables in one column(栏). In the next column, you can write down all the meat. Do the same for other things. Keeping your list organised will help you shop faster.

Secondly, a shopping list helps you not to forget anything. You would not want to get home from the store and find you didn’t buy all the things you needed. A shopping list helps you to remember everything you want to buy.
A shopping list can also help you to save money. Without a list you might not remember if you have enough milk at home. You might buy the milk as you think you don’t have any. When you get home, you would see you already have a full bottle of milk. Then the extra milk might go to waste. If you make a list, you will not buy the things you do not need.
Although it will take you a few minutes to write out a shopping list, it is worth(值得) your time.

Long ago, people lived off wild animals, fruits and other plants and they didn’t need to use money. As time passed, people had more products than they needed, such as animals and crops, so they wanted to trade with others. They began to use money to make it convenient. However, it was not like the money we use today. They used shells, rice, salt or large stones.
During the 600s BC, people began using coins as money. Because they were easier to carry than goods. And countries began to make coins as their money.

The Chinese were the first to use paper money, as early as the 11th century. An Italian traveller, Marco Polo, saw the Chinese use paper money when he visited China in the 1200s. After his travel, he told the Western people what he saw. But European countries started using official paper money six centuries later than China.
Today we have many ways to pay for things. We can use coins, paper money, cards and mobile phones. Some prefer to pay by mobile phone. That’s because paying with a mobile phone is easier and safer than carrying a lot of “real” money.

First, make a plan at the start of each month. Write down what you need to buy, like school supplies or bus fares, and how much they cost. Second, think carefully before buying something new. Wait for a day or two. Finally, keep a small notebook to write down every coin you spend. This way, you’ll always know where your money goes.

一、 完形填空。(每小题1分,共10分)
If your parents are out for a week , and you’re left with 800 yuan , how will you spend it ? It would be 1 to spend the money at the mall , especially if you have great clothes at home , right ? A smarter way is to spend that money on food and journeys. You’d 2 also want to save some money for a difficult situation.
Now you’ve learned how to budget(做预算). It’s all about deciding what 3 most and how much you want to spend on those things.
Learning your priorities (优先事项) is the most important. For example , if you 4 to buy a smartphone , you should consider saving some money first. The next time your friend invites you to an expensive place , you’d better 5 .

More suggestions can be found on the internet. As a young person , you have 9 to try different methods. In fact , even adults make mistakes at times. So , if you go over your budget ,just try to learn from your 10 . It’s part of becoming a wise spender.

It is a good idea to make a list before you go shopping. Some people do not like to make a shopping list because it takes time. However , there are many reasons why you should make one.
Firstly , a shopping list helps you to save time. When you write the list , you should put the things in different groups. For example , you can write down all the fruit and vegetables in one column(栏). In the next column , you can write down all the meat. Do the same for other things. Keeping your list organised will help you shop faster.
Secondly , a shopping list helps you not to forget anything. You would not want to get home from the store and find you didn’t buy all the things you needed. A shopping list helps you to remember everything you want to buy.
A shopping list can also help you to save money. Without a list you might not remember if you have enough milk at home. You might buy the milk as you think you don’t have any. When you get home , you would see you already have a full bottle of milk. Then the extra milk might go to waste. If you make a list , you will not buy the things you do not need.
Although it will take you a few minutes to write out a shopping list , it is worth (值得) your time.
